Application Process

Ready to apply for the MSIT Program? Here is all you need to know.

Due to the COVID-19 situation the Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT), both Walk-in Entrance and Regular GAT Entrance are conducted online i.e. candidates can take the test from home. Hence candidates can stay home and stay safe.

Admissions are based on ranks obtained in the entrance exam called Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT). Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT) will be conducted by CIHL in two ways:

Walk-in Entrance Test


Candidates have the option to choose the date of the exam.

Regular GAT Entrance Test


Exam is conducted on a fixed date.

Application Fee


A cost of INR 1000 (non-refundable) is chargeable to each candidate to manage admissions.

Payment can be made through net banking or with credit or debit cards.

Program Details


Whether you're a civil engineering graduate or an electronics one, we don't discriminate! All branches of B.Tech/B.E. degree holders are eligible for the MSIT program.

GAT Test details 

One is walk-ins and the other one is regular entrance test. Candidates can appear either for walk-ins or regular entrance test OR both tests.


Candidates can appear for the GAT for a maximum of three times. Walk-ins can be attempted for a maximum of two times with a gap of one week and the regular test (GAT) can be attempted once, on fixed dates.


For every attempt a non-refundable amount of Rs.1000 has to be paid through online by Credit / Debit card or net banking on the admissions portal. The best of these two will be considered for the rankings.

Apply with your GRE Scores

As an alternative to GAT or walk-in tests, you can also apply with your GRE scores. The validity of GRE scores is for 5 years, as per ETS guidelines.
