The success of a program lies in that of the students.
MSIT takes pride in students who have been placed in leading
corporate of today. Though still in infancy, the course
has proved its merit. MSIT recognizes and rewards exceptional
talent among its students and perhaps that's why its students
have brought it many laurels.
Paper on software processes written by one of the
mentors is published by the Society of Entrepreunership
Educators and has won a cash award in Entrepreneurship
Case Writing Competition 2005 conducted by ISB.
Case Study on software design written by one of
the mentors is published in the internal magazine
of Satyam - Satyam Technical Review.
Seven students from IIIT, Hyderabad and SIT, JNTU
, Hyderabad have been awarded scholarship and selected
as research scholars for doing their MS from Carnegie
Mellon University.
Few more students are going to be trained at CMU West
Coast Campus and Pittsburgh as mentors.
Research paper written by two MSITians has been
presented at IEEE TENCON 2003.
Network Intrusion Detection System by students of
NIT, Warangal bagged first prize in National Project
Presentation sponsored by Microsoft
Design & Development of Mining Tool - selected
for paper presentation in AICTE-ISTE short term program
being held at NIT warangal
IPSVAC presented at Biological Language Conference,
University of Pittsburg, USA.
A number of students of IIIT are involved in various
projects at CCMB, CDFD, and ICRIS.
