I am a PhD student at COS (Computation Organization and Society), SCS, Carnegie Mellon University, working with Dr. Raj Reddy and Dr. Lorrie Cranor.

My areas of research range from representing privacy policies in Machine Readable format, cross-cultural privacy issues (specifically in the US and India), Electronic Voting and privacy related to RFID.

Currently I am working on understanding privacy attitudes and awareness in India. I conducted a survey in India among students, professionals, researchers and professors during Spring 2004. Currently I am finding various behaviors from the data.

I am member of CUPS and I am also in the organizing committee of SOUPS 2005.
